Series 002: Photographs
1909-1990s
The photographs in Series 2 were acquired by Rev. Edward Udovic, C.M., University Mission and Values. Fr. Udovic began collecting and purchasing Chicago and Lincoln Park ephemera, material culture, and photographs for DePaul University beginning in 2002, relying mostly on online auction sites such as ebay.com. To aid researchers, the photographs and negatives Fr. Udovic purchased that document the activities of the DePaul Settlement House and Day Nursery, St. Vincent's Infant Asylum/St. Vincent's Orphanage, and St. Vincent de Paul Center were added to this collection.
