Fenian Brotherhood

La Fenian Brotherhood (Irlandais : ''Bráithreachas na bhFíníní)'' était une organisation républicaine irlandaise fondée aux États-Unis en 1858 par John O'Mahony et Michael Doheny. C'était un précurseur du Clan na Gael, une organisation sœur de la Fraternité Républicaine Irlandaise. Les membres étaient communément appelés "Fenians". O'Mahony, qui était un érudit gaélique, a donné à son organisation le nom Fianna, le groupe légendaire de guerriers irlandais dirigé par Fionn Mac Cumhaill.Informations fournies par Wikipedia
