John Gibbons
John Michael Gibbons (born June 8, 1962) is an American professional baseball player, coach, and manager. Gibbons played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a catcher with the New York Mets in 1984 and 1986.Gibbons became a coach for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2002 and then became manager in 2004. He was fired during the 2008 season. He coached for the Kansas City Royals from 2009 to 2011 and managed in the minor leagues in 2012 before managing the Blue Jays again from 2013 to 2018.
