Item Description:	Signatures: A?. Engraved Jesuit device on title page, head piece, initial. Last leaf blank. Backer-Somervogel lists a variant of this same title published in Milan, by Geo. Battista Bidelli, 1628. This imprint not listed. This account originally included in a letter of 1597 from the vice-provincial of the Jesuits in Japan to the superior general in Rome but probably not printed until 1628. Cf. Streit and Lach.
