| תאור פריט: | T.p. vignette: Jesuit device. The 1741 edition of this is listed under Levinius Brown by Gillow; it is listed as a translation under the same author by Sommervogel. There are only minor textual variations between that edition and this one. "An instruction to perform with fruit, the devotion of ten Fridays, in honour of St. Francis Xaverius ..." has separate t.p. and pagination, but continuous signatures. It was first published [Saint-Omer, 1690] and may have been translated by Edward Scarisbrike (Cf. BLC; Wing). The place of publication is a surmise; the date is from Clancy. The three references above appear to identify the same book. |
