Some ill. are chromolithographs with gold. Madonna of San Sisto --engraved frontispiece. N.T. has separate title-page. Album for "Family portraits" ([4] p.) at end. T.p. in red and back; red-ruled border decorated with crosses, keys, and scrolls. Preliminaries include facsimile ecclesiastical approbations; a list of the books of the Bible; admonition by Pope Pius VI; translation of the decree of the Council of Trent April 1546; portraits of popes, archbishops and bishops; contents of the books of the Old and New Testaments; and historical and chronological tables.
