Summary:This collection contains the personal papers of Dr. Clyde Cowan's career as a physics professor and researcher. The papers contain bound notebooks of his physics and mathematical proofs. There are also all his personal notes and correspondence on his research on the Neutrino as well as other atomic and astronomical research. This research includes handwritten mathematical notes, reports, and correspondence to other professors. There are also class notes from Cowan's years as a professor at CUA as well as exams and research proposals. Cowan also collected many scholarly journal excerpts as well as other publications and his notebooks on the Neutrino. Lastly, there is a collection of Cowan's computer notes for his experiments.
