Summary:This collection contains material related to the personal, professional, and priestly life of Father Luis Dolan. Born in 1921 in Argentina, Fr. Dolan was raised in a Passionist parish and joined that order after being ordained in 1945. After 10 years working and preaching in Argentina, Fr. Dolan began his international ministry, first in nearby South American countries. He finally settled in New York in the late 1970s, working with Non-Governmental Organizations and the United Nations until his passing in 2000. Included in his papers are correspondence, records, subject files, audio-visual material, and memorabilia from his life as a Passionist priest and as a representative in the international interfaith community.
