NMC 2043, NMC 2044 English Biographical Note Carl August Horn grew up in Catonsville, MD, and attended The Catholic University of America between 1912-1916 as a Chemical Engineering student. While at CUA, he was a member of the Electron Society (sophomore through senior years), the Holy Name Society (sophomore through senior years), and played football (sophomore and junior years), and track (sophomore through senior years). He was also the founder of the Resistance Club, an informal club in the Chemical Engineering Department. Scope and Contents This collection contains a photograph and track trophy. This collection is divided into one series: 1) CUA Memorabilia. Arrangement The Carl A.
