Resumo:The papers of Terence Vincent Powderly aptly demonstrate his mark on American labor and immigration history. They consist largely of his official correspondence as General Master Workman of the Knights of Labor, 1879-1893, as well as his tenure as an official for both the Immigration and Labor departments, 1898-1924, and Mayor of Scranton, 1878-1884. In addition, there are photographs, memorabilia, personal correspondence, and legal and financial records.
