Yannarell (EE 1956) was born and raised in Hazelton, PA. He served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1952. He entered CUA as a freshman in the fall of 1952 and graduated in 1956 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Yannarell also was a member of the CUA chapter of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, a pre-professional club. In his senior year he would become the first president of the Inter-Engineering Council. A number of photographs in the collection document this popular gathering spot. While attending CUA, Yannarell also met his wife, Christina "Tina" (Frawley) Yanarell (BSN 1958). Mr. Yannarell and his wife are involved with CUA Alumni activities and he now serves on the Recruitment Committee for the CUA Senators Club, a social and philanthropic organization for CUA engineering and architecture graduates. Scope and Contents The material in this collection was personally donated to The Catholic University of America by Nicholas T. Yannarell. These printed materials document school dances, worship services and theatre performances from this period. Series 1 contains memorabilia, including ticket stubs and prayer medallions.
