Pages 34-221 written in humanistic hand with brown ink, rubricated titles and initials, and cursive pagination, possibly in a different hand. This is followed by 14 unnumbered pages written in cursive hand with decorative initials in dark brown ink, rubricated staves. Final bifolium written in second cursive hand in dark brown ink, including staves.
Pounce used as a drying agent on final pages.
Blind-tooled and stamped leather over pasteboard; front cover detached; clasps missing.
Likely created by a member of the Vallumbrosan order of Benedictines; contains daily chants for the order (page 51) and music for the feast of founder John Gualbert (page 41).
