Summary:Wiget was born in 1821 in Switzerland and entered Society there. In 1848, he was sent to Georgetown where he continued his studies and was ordained in 1851. He worked at Frederick, St. Thomas Manor, Boston, Washington, and White Marsh. He died at St. Thomas on 2 January 1883. The collection contains one letter and six notebooks of notes of lectures, mostly those of Fr. Joseph L. Duverney, taken at Georgetown, 1848-1850.
