| Item Description: | Title vignette; head-pieces; initials. The words "con la vida del autor" appear on t.p. of v. 1 only. The life of the author, as also the editorial work of the first six volumes, is by Vicente Antonio Noguera y Ramón; in the preparation of the last three, several scholars coöperated, the principal one among them being José Francisco Oritz y Sanz. cf. Prologues, and Fuster, Bibl. valenciana, v. 2, p. 178-181. The publisher (cf. "Prólogo del impresor," v. 9) speaks of a new translation of Míñana's "Continuacion" as completed and ready for the press. Apparently it was never printed. |
