Preliminaries include imprimaturs (p. VI); and Iturriaga's own translation from the original Latin of a circular letter to his clergy, dated Nov. 20, 1781, from Giovanni Leopoldo ab Hai, bishop of Königsgratz (p. VII-XVII), whose views Iturriaga disputed. Pages XIX-CCLXX contain Iturriaga's reply to the critique of the bishop's "system of tolerance" by "Isaac Vanspeuspeg", an anagrammatic supporter of the bishop. Signatures: A-R¹² [$4 signed].
