The volume contains ordinances issued by the Father Generals of the Society of Jesus and the Provincial; replies of the Father General to different provinces; solutions to conscience cases; exhortations of Father Generals to the whole society; customs okayed on visits; list of vows pronounced in St. Ignatius 1863-1923; local customs approved by the Provincials; list of men ordained at St. Ignatius; list of the dead; directives of Fr. Sopranis; and various directives of Provincials. Several loose sheets have been tucked into the volume, including an index in English compiled November 1, 1963, and written in a Loyola University examiniation book ('blue book'). Ordinances, directives, exhortations, and lists are in Latin. |
