Helen Sauer Brown, distinguished entrepreneur in LaGrange, IL, has held positions in several business organizations including being the first woman president of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Ms. Bronw has been active in the peace movement, is dedicated to gaining women's equality, and was an organizer of the Equal Rights Amendment on behalf of the organization Illinois Catholic Women. She taught religion at Nazareth Academy and served as president of a religious education consulting service. In 1993 she received the "Outstanding Working Woman of Illinois Award" for her accomplishments.
