He talks about how he came to the Catholic Worker, his deaconship, and changes in the Catholic Church. He also discusses social action, air raid drill resistance, the Catholic Worker Movement's relationship with the Plowshares movement and the Catholic Worker Movement's role in draft resistance and how the draft helped energize the community. Finally, he talks about his experiences with Dorothy Day and editing The Catholic worker. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
