Özet:Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Former Catholic Worker Bob Chaps discusses his time spent at Catholic Worker houses in Davenport, Iowa, Chicago, Ill., and Detroit, Mich. Chaps talks about what drew him to the Catholic Worker and tells many stories and anecdotes about the personalities, sometimes difficult, he encountered at the houses, and life at each. He also describes mealtime and the importance of the houses in their respective neighborhoods. He refers to Margaret Garvey of the Davenport Catholic Worker and Father Frank Cordaro throughout. Chaps is occasionally quiet and difficult to hear. Interruptions in audio present in original recording. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
