He describes his background in Detroit, his initial parish work, and how he came to Day House in 1978. He then discusses funding Catholic Worker houses, kitchens and the services they provide. Later he talks about what helped him decide that working with the poor was his calling. Finally, he discusses his time in jail and how he ministered while he was there.
