Catholic Worker Paul Magno discusses his involvement with the Catholic Worker community in Washington, D.C., family life in a Catholic Worker house, and his involvement in antinuclear protests. He begins the interview by detailing the Washington D.C. Worker community, including his characterization of the differences in the houses he has been involved with and what he calls the "Mike Kirwan branch." He discusses his background and how he began working at Zacchaeus Kitchen in Washington, D.C. He then talks about his experiences with the Community for Creative Non-Violence as well as the antinuclear movement. He discusses living with a family in a Catholic Worker community and raising children. He also talks about his involvment in the Plowshares movement and other antinuclear protests.
