Summary:Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Catholic Worker and peace activist Jerry Ebner is interviewed a few weeks prior to being sentenced to thirty months in Sandstone Federal Prison for his part in the Transfiguration West Plowshares action. Ebner discusses how he first became involved in the Catholic Worker Movement, his impressions of the movement, and the various houses he worked at. He talks about running houses of hospitality and what needs to be done to maintain them. He also discusses extensively the Plowshares movement, the anti-nuclear movement, how it relates to the Catholic Worker Movement, and the Transfiguration West action where he helped disarm a Minuteman missile silo.
