He speaks about what drew him to the Catholic Worker after college, initial diocesan reaction to Omega House, and other Catholic Worker houses in the Quad Cities area. He talks about the strains the Catholic Worker and civil disobedience especially put on his marriage. He describes the many protests and arrests at the Rock Island Arsenal weapons manufacturing facility. Quilty also discusses war tax resistance, what hospitality means, and urging the Catholic Church to act consistently on all social justice issues. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
