Summary: | Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Gary Olivero discusses his life in the Catholic Worker Movement. He discusses his days as a student and the readings that influenced his radicalism as well as his draft resistance. He discusses how the Catholic Worker relates to the Catholic Church. He talks about his civil disobedience and being a criminal in society for doing what he feels compelled to do as a Catholic. He is joined by Barbara Blaine and they discuss feminism, what it means to the Catholic Church, as well as women in the Catholic Worker. The discussion leads to what it means to be a Catholic Worker and what qualities define Catholic Worker philosophy. This eventually leads to a discussion of homosexuality within the Catholic Church and the Catholic Worker. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester.
