Dick Dieter and Maggie Louden discuss the Community for Creative Non-violence (CCNV), the Catholic Worker Movement, and the pacifism and nonviolence movements in Washington, D.C. They begin by talking about their involvement with CCNV. They talk about the differences between CCNV's approach and that of the Catholic Worker philosophies. They discuss their work in Alderson, W. Va., where they provided housing for families visiting relatives in the local prison as well as services for the prisoners themselves. They also talk about the legal trouble this brought them and how they responded to it. They talk about living in community and why they've decided to leave community housing. They also briefly discuss the Quixote Center. Interviewed by Rosalie Riegle Troester. Interruptions in audio present in original recording.
