He then discusses how they began a campaign to help the poor and eventually the founding of the CHIPS organization itself. He discusses some of the difficulties CHIPS faced, including having to relocate several times and some of the changes in its personnel. He talks about the shift to a nonprofit status. He also talks about help from other organizations and starting the CHIPS shelter at Arthur Sheehan House of Hospitality in Brooklyn. | ||
