On the heights: the supreme dominion of God.

In this session of his 1985 Encounter with Silence Retreat held in Pittsburgh, Pa., Reverend John J. Hugo discusses the concepts of obedience to the express will of God and self-abandonment. He makes a distinction between these concepts and resignation, which he condemns and aligns with stoicism.
