Gaia:Incomplete 800 + p. typescript of a reminiscence spanning 1901-1943, dictated by a Chicago physician active in civil rights and Catholic social justice organizations, including the Chicago Urban League, Federated Colored Catholics, National Catholic Interracial Federation, The Catholic worker, and the Congress of Racial Equality. Dr. Falls recounts the 1919 race riots; describes discrimination at Northwestern University Medical School and within the Archdiocese of Chicago; and efforts by the Chicago Urban League to recognize Jean Point Baptiste De Sable at the Chicago World's Fair of 1933-1934.
