Dr. Falls recounts the 1919 race riots; describes discrimination at Northwestern University Medical School and within the Archdiocese of Chicago; and efforts by the Chicago Urban League to recognize Jean Point Baptiste De Sable at the Chicago World's Fair of 1933-1934. |
