Summary:Class 44-G, the last class of flying cadets to go through Primary Flight Training at Parks Cahokia Campus in World War Two. The cadet kneeling second from the right in the second row, who is not wearing a flight helmet, is Fred Olivi. He was the co-pilot of the B-29, "Bockscar," which dropped the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan, on 9 August 1945, effectively bringing the war to an end. These cadets had been in active service for less than a year and a half at the close of the war. (Graduated 10 March 1944)
