The courtyard at the Jesuit College St-Joseph, located at 62 Rue des Lices, Avignon, France. Petrarch's Laura is buried in the area beyond the tree here. Previously, there was a church in that area (underneath which Laura was interred), but that has disappeared. (12 June 1951)
