Volume 2S, Moral reasoning: obligations, values and consequences (short version), reviews the first five objectives of the Moral Reasoning Across the Curriculum Initiative that are taught in Freshman Studies. The, the tape includes a case study discussion with students applying the moral reasoning method learned in Freshman Studies to the death penalty.
Volume 2L, Moral reasoning: obligations, values and consequences (long version), reviews the first five objectives of the Moral Reasoning Across the Curriculum Initiative that are taught in Freshman Studies. The tape concludes by having students apply the moral reasoning method in two cases. The first case involves an issue of student honesty and the second case examines whether the death penalty should be applied to the mentally retarded.
Volume 3, Moral reasoning and ethical theory, reviews objectives 6-10 of the Moral Reasoning Across the Curriculum Initiative that are taught in American Dilemmas classes. There are discussions about these objectives with students throughout the tape.
Volume 4, Moral reasoning and the Capstone Project, reviews objectives 11 and 12 of the Moral Reasoning Across the Curriculum Initiative taught in the Capstone class. There are discussions about these objectives with students throughout the tape.
