In 1980 the Chestertonians put on a program celebrating the 50th anniversary of Chesterton's semester at Notre Dame (fall 1930). Frederick Crosson, Ralph McInerny, Frank Sheed, and John Bennet Shaw, among others, participated in the program. In 1983 the group helped bring Stanley L.
