Disgrifiad
Disgrifiad o'r Eitem:An interlinear edition of the Greek N.T. and the Vulgate Latin version ("reprinted from the 'Antwerp Polyglot'", D. & M.). Where the Vulgate differs from the Greek, its text is printed in the margin and a literal Latin rendering, by Arias Montanus, is printed, in italics, in the text. The N.T. is followed by an interlinear edition of the Apocrypha, in Greek and in the Latin version published in the Complutensian Polyglot. "The text in the N.T. follows that given in vol. 7 of the Antwerp Polyglot, and in the Apocr. apparently reproduces that printed in the earlier volumes of the same Bible" (D. & M.).
A variant has on the title-page "libri Græcè scripti, qui vocantur Apocryphi".
The text is printed in 2 columns, divided into verses; the Apocrypha (except for 3 Maccabees) is printed in larger type than the N.T. - Collation: [paragraph mark], A-Y in 4s, Z1-6, Aa-Qq in 4s (Z6 blank).
