Item Description:T.p. printed in black and red, bears the papal coat of arms and privilege, the woodcut on the verso depicts the Mass of St. Gregory. The printer's device of Jean de Channey on the last verso imitates the dolphin and anchor mark of the famous Venetian humanistic scholar and publisher, Aldo Manuzio (ca. 1550-1515). An owner's monogram (the letter NB topped by a cross) is written in the papal coat of arms on the t.p. and on the last verso of Bernardus de Croso's question. An ex libris on the verso of the back flyleaf states: "Hic liber est fratris Gregorij ad usum suorum amicorum".
