"Of the two following Bulls, the Latin version of that of Pius VII is taken from an authorized copy, printed at the Government Press of Florence; the English translation is taken from "The Orthodox Journal, or Catholic Monthly Intelligencer," for September 1814. The translation of that of Clement XIV is copied from the London chronicle of the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st of September, 1773; though, from the length of the document, it was not thought advisable to add the original Latin, which has been ltely recieved from Florence."--T.p. verso. |
