Full page woodcut on title page signed VG (Urs Graf) depicts eleven disciples being addressed by Jesus with symbols of four evangelists in the corners and the Father and Holy Spirit on a cloud; title above the woodcut. Colophon: Vita Christi oder das Leben Christi Gedruckt zů Strößburg durch Johannem Knobloüch in dem Jar do man zalt .M.D.viij. nach Sant Bartholomeustag. Signatures: A-R⁶ S⁴ T⁸ 2A⁶ 2B 2C⁴ 2F⁶ 2G⁶ 2H-2J⁴ j, ij, iij. Spaces left for some initials with printed guide letters.
