Steenoven in Utrecht on the basis of the number of bishops that must be present for the ordination of a bishop; Damen's dissertation was challenged in a letter by Z.B. van Espen, which was then answered by Damen in a second dissertation, which was challenged by Liéven de Meyer in six letters and by five anonymous letters against Damen. |
