Facing the text are 18 portraits, the first 14 of which were engraved by Westerhout, the 15th being by his pupil Jakob Frey and the last three by G.A. Faldoni. Added title page, engraved, dated 1748, the date of the 1st edition, the 15 portraits of which are, according to Backer-Sommervogel, reversed copies of the 15 engravings by Strahowsky, published in Leopold Grim's "Dissertationes theologicae" Breslau, 1731. |
