Ornamental initials and illumination throughout. Text appears as brown ink with rubrics in red. Gilt fore edges. Includes 14 large miniatures with gold borders; 20 smaller miniatures throughout. Binding is late sixteenth or early seventeenth French red morocco with gilt tooling. Clasp missing. Cartouches for coats-of-arms on leaves 64 and 74v. In clamshell case. Title devised by cataloger. |
