Shrnutí:Fr. Welch, S.J. was born in 1822 and entered the Society of Jesus in 1851. He taught Ethics at Georgetown College and Constitutional Law at Georgetown Law School. In addition, he taught at Boston College, Loyola College in Baltimore, and Holy Cross College. He died in 1904. The papers are in the main comprised of his spiritual writings. Also present, diaries and material gathered by John A. Corbett, S.J. for a projected biography of Fr. Welch.
