Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:Peggy Baird shares her experiences with Dorothy Day, including participating in the women's suffrage movement, and spending time among many literary luminaries such as Edna St. Vincent Millay, Eugene O'Neill, and Hart Crane. She also describes living in Paris among other American expatriates, such as Ernest Hemingway and Sinclair Lewis, and her marriage to Malcolm Cowley. The recording seems to have taken place on two separate occasions, and Baird repeats a story about her and Day's jail time in Occoquan women's prison. Interviewed by Deane Mowrer.
