Betsy Carroll becomes the first woman to graduate from Parks College in recent history. Although Mary von Mach graduated in 1929 with a commercial pilot's license, Betsy Carroll was the first female to complete a degree program at Parks. (1972) [From Parks College News, Spring 1972, p1]
